(Business) Controller (m/w/d) up to 80,000€ per annum

We are looking for a (Business) Controller (m/w/d) to support the Controlling Team of our client, a dynamic company located between Cologne and Düsseldorf. This is a newly created position to strengthen the existing Controlling Team.
Internal further development is highly valued by our client, and as a motivated "Junior" or "Senior", you will quickly find your way into the team with the corresponding professional onboarding. But even as a "Senior", you are a welcome new member of the team through your professional experience.
This is an unlimited full-time position at our client's company, and for you as a candidate: our service is completely free of charge.

Tasks

• You analyze relevant key figures of the corresponding Business Units and derive well-founded recommendations for management.
• You are a sparring partner for individual departments in the sense of a Business Partner.
• You create, develop, and automate various reports further.
• You are significantly involved in building and maintaining BI solutions, ideally with Power BI.
• You support budget planning, forecasts, and deviation analyses.
• Together with the departments, you search for optimization potential.
• The assurance and continuous improvement of reporting processes also fall within your scope.

Qualification

• A completed business administration degree, preferably with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or a comparable qualification.
• Multiple years of experience in Controlling or an equivalent analytical role, for example as a Business Analyst.
• Very strong analytical skills and high numerical affinity.
• Fundamental knowledge in the field of reporting.
• Experience with BI tools, ideally Power BI, is advantageous.
• Safe handling of Excel.
• Structured, independent working style, as well as communication strength and assertiveness.
• Good English skills are desirable.
