Business Analyst - Securities Business (m/w/d)

Your role

As a Business Analyst (m/w/d) you will be responsible for the technical aspects of products and processes in the banking field with a focus on Securities Business.

You will advise the Product Owner on the further development of solutions that combine customer needs, market requirements, and regulatory guidelines, and ensure that the results are scientifically founded, practice-oriented, and of high quality – from idea to market launch.

We are looking for you as a Business Analyst (m/w/d) – with a focus on professional consulting, product management, and market requirements in the Securities Business.

Tasks

• Eigenverantwortliche Analyse, Bewertung und Abstimmung fachlicher Anforderungen im Wertpapiergeschäft
• Erstellung von Fachkonzepten, Anforderungsbeschreibungen und User Stories as a basis for the technical implementation
• Unterstützung des Product Owners bei Backlog-Pflege, Priorisierung, Refinement und Releaseplanung
• Aufnahme und Beschreibung fachlicher Prozesse und Schnittstellen (Requirements Engineering) sowie Ableitung fachlicher und nicht-funktionaler Anforderungen
• Erstellung und Durchführung fachlicher Testfälle, Unterstützung der Testautomatisierung and ensuring the professional quality of the delivery results
• Beobachtung von Markttrends und regulatorischen Änderungen as well as derivation of corresponding action recommendations
• Enge Abstimmung mit Fachbereichen, Entwicklung und Partnern – auf Augenhöhe und lösungsorientiert
• Unterstützung des gesamten Produktlebenszyklus – von der Konzeption über Test und Pilotierung bis zur Einführung und Pflege im Betrieb

Qualification

• Completed banking education or studies with a focus on finance, economics or comparable qualification,
• Professional experience in the banking field, particularly in securities business or similar processes
• Erfahrung in Anforderungsanalyse, Prozessmanagement und agilen Arbeitsweisen (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of test and quality assurance, ideally with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT or comparable tools
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the banking field
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
