Business Analyst - Requirements Engineer /1

Job Description The candidate will be an integral member of the Customer Platform Engineering team, collaborating closely with three Scrum development teams focused on customer-facing web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications. The role involves eliciting, analyzing, specifying, and validating both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis & Documentation: - Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate functional and non-functional requirements from various sources (e.g., customer needs, market trends, business goals) - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams. Business Process Improvement: - Analyze and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction - Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Requirements Engineering: - Define, document, and maintain requirements specifications for software applications, considering functional and non-functional aspects (e.g., usability, performance, security) - Collaborate with developers to ensure that software meets the specified requirements, and identify potential issues or conflicts early on. Communication & Stakeholder Management: - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of project goals, timelines, and deliverables - Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates and progress reports to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Education & Certification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or relevant experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, or a related field.
