Job Description Do you want to be the crucial bridge between the business and the technical team?

Do you have experience as a business analyst and does the dynamic world of one of the largest ports in the world appeal to you? Then you are the person our Digital team is looking for. As a business analyst, you form the crucial bridge between the business and the technical team, in an organization where no two days are the same.

You map out processes, translate complex needs into clear requirements, and bring structure to complexity. This way, you ensure that digital solutions truly align with what is happening on the work floor.

A selection from your varied tasks:

  • You analyze and document business processes and proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • You independently translate business needs into concrete functional and non-functional requirements, create clear user stories, and monitor the quality of functional documentation throughout the project
  • You lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders, manage diverse expectations, and act as the point of contact from analysis to delivery
  • You work closely with developers and architects to keep solutions technically feasible and business-driven, and monitor project scope
  • You define test scenarios and acceptance criteria and coordinate their execution for new software functionalities
  • You manage the product backlog, work daily with tools like Jira and Confluence, and take an active role in the team's SCRUM ceremonies
  • You follow trends and developments in the field and translate them into opportunities for the organization

Profile

You are an experienced business analyst with a sharp analytical eye and strong communication skills. You know how to translate complex issues clearly into workable solutions, always keeping the end-user in mind.

  • You have demonstrable experience in developing functional analyses, user stories, and technical documentation, preferably in a digital or IT environment
  • You have an affinity with or experience in a logistics, industrial, or port-related environment
  • You think analytically, structurally, and critically: you quickly identify bottlenecks, pinpoint the core of a problem, and translate it into accepted solutions. You know how to distinguish the essential from the non-essential, even under time pressure
  • You are a natural bridge-builder: you switch smoothly between technical and non-technical conversation partners, bring different perspectives together, and communicate clearly in Dutch; English is a plus
  • You take ownership of your cases, work accurately and result-oriented, and know when to align with your team
  • You are eager to learn, think proactively, and are open to feedback, even in a new sectoral context
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM and tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus
  • Courage, connection, focus, and simplicity? These are values that you can fully embrace
Offer

You can count on a varied job with stimulating responsibilities, room for new initiatives, and training opportunities. Furthermore, we offer you a market-conform salary supplemented with an extensive package of secondary benefits, including meal vouchers, supplementary pension, hospitalization insurance, mobility allowance, and disability insurance.
