Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to optimize underwriting processes within an underwriting workbench project in the field of IT process and IT consulting, fixed term from 01.01.2026–31.12.2026

Your tasks

• Analysis of business processes and user flows, as well as derivation of user requirements to support implementation teams

• Support and consultation for users in coordination with ART Business Analysts to address user needs promptly and effectively

• Participation in ongoing documentation of the underwriting workbench on the Business Support Platform

• Maintenance, analysis, and optimization of processes and interfaces as well as collaboration with specialist and IT teams to integrate underwriting applications

• Participation in conceiving and implementing an international, multi-level underwriting process in coordination with Risk Engineering and Operations

• Creation of training materials and preparation of communication measures for international users

• Extension and execution of regression tests and manual tests including creation and execution of test cases for user-story tests

• Application of business analyst methods such as interviews, product roadmaps, use-case diagrams, and story mapping to structured analysis and solution finding

Must-Requirements

• Experience in process analysis

• Experience in project management

• Experience in the underwriting environment or with underwriting processes

• Experience in requirements analysis/requirements engineering and creation of user stories, use-case diagrams, and story mapping

• Experience with test activities, particularly regression tests and manual tests

• Experience in process and interface documentation as well as maintenance of workbench or support documentation

• Experience in supporting and consulting users as well as close collaboration with specialist departments and development teams

• Collaboration skills

• Analytical skills

• Load capacity

• Availability for deployment from 01.01.2026 to 31.12.2026 and a maximum of 200 working days

Can-Requirements

• Experience with international rollouts and multi-level underwriting processes

• Experience in preparing and conducting user training and communication measures

• Experience in collaboration with Risk, Engineering, and Operations to integrate processes and applications

• Experience in further development and optimization of regression test processes
