Business Analyst

LHH is seeking a innovative reality that designs and implements open-source technological solutions for managing, preserving, and sharing digital collections, research data, and cultural content, collaborating with academic institutions and research centers globally. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst. Responsibilities The figure will be responsible for the following activities: - Identification and evaluation of functional and technical requirements. - Production of project documentation, including functional specifications, processes, and operational flows. - Support for configuration and customization of corporate solutions. - Continuous collaboration with development and system teams to implement solutions. - Supervision of products and identification of possible evolutions and optimizations. - Accompanying clients in defining metadata models and ingestion, publication, and interoperability workflows. - Provision of training activities for clients. - Alignment of solutions with best practices in digital cultural heritage management, data, and research products, as well as FAIR principles and Open Science. - Planning projects from activity estimation to verification and validation of deliverables. - Preparation of technical documentation in support of bids. - Participation in workshops, demonstrations, and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Profile - Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent humanities disciplines (Letters, Cultural Heritage, Digital Humanities). - Maturity gained in the role of Business Analyst or similar positions within complex IT projects. - Knowledge of repository systems and digital libraries, as well as main metadata standards (Dublin Core, CERIF, EDM, DCAT-AP, MAG, METS, ICCD, etc.). - Skills in process analysis and modeling. - Ability to produce structured functional documentation. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Good mastery of the English language, level B2, both written and spoken. Nice to have - Direct experience using DSpace, DSpace-CRIS, DSpace-GLAM, or Dataverse. - Participation in Digital Library, Open Access, Open Data, or Open Science projects. - Basic knowledge of XML and XSL. - Basic skills in SQL and database management. - Experience in academic or library contexts.
