About the Opportunity

A remote-first operations analytics and business consulting environment serving digital-native clients across e-commerce, fintech and SaaS. The team focuses on operational efficiency, KPI-driven insights and process optimisation to accelerate growth and reduce cost-to-serve.

We are hiring a Business Analyst Intern — Operations & Insights to support cross-functional teams by turning operational data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve throughput, reduce waste and inform strategic priorities.

Role & Responsibilities

• Analyze daily/weekly operational KPIs and produce concise dashboards and reports to track performance, SLA adherence and exception trends.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and spreadsheet models to extract, transform and validate data for reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Build interactive Power BI / Tableau dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights to operations, product and leadership teams.
• Map and document core operational processes; identify bottlenecks and propose measurable process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business questions into analytics requirements and prioritized action items.
• Present findings in clear, data-backed narratives and support implementation by tracking impact and iterating on solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and intermediate query optimisation.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookup formulas, array formulas, data-cleaning techniques).
• Experience building dashboards and visualisations in Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to convert data into concise recommendations and measurable action plans.
• Comfortable working remotely, managing priorities independently and collaborating with stakeholders across functions.

• Familiarity with Python (pandas) for data manipulation and basic automation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Prior internship or project experience in operations analytics, process improvement or consulting.
