Job description
- Must have NV1/Baseline clearance
- 6-month initial CONTRACT with potential extensions
- Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days in Melbourne CBD)
- Daily Rate: $950 (inc SUPER)
- Start date: Jan 2026
We're seeking a Business Analyst with strong Cyber Security experience and an active NV1/Baseline clearance to support security uplift initiatives across a highly regulated environment. You'll work with business and technical teams to define requirements, assess risks, and help deliver secure, resilient solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Gather, analyse, and document business and security requirements.
- Assess cyber processes, risks, and gaps across systems and controls.
- Support threat modelling, risk assessments, and security uplift activities.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops and maintain process maps, user stories, and documentation.
- Ensure alignment with security standards, governance, and compliance obligations.
- NV1/Baseline Clearance (essential).
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in cybersecurity or secure environments.
- Solid understanding of cyber principles, risks, controls, and security frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary security and technology teams.
