CNA Bologna is the Association that represents and protects artisans, entrepreneurs, and SMEs in the province of Bologna, offering services in the areas of tax, administration, labor, safety, environment, credit, and digital innovation.

The role
Within the Business Intelligence Team, we are looking for a resource to fill the role of Business Analyst. The objective will be to ensure the correct implementation of BI projects, guaranteeing the reliability, consistency, and accessibility of data, promoting BI best practices, and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
What will you be responsible for?
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
- You will gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications for BI solutions.
- You will define KPIs and metrics, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance.
ANALYTICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- You will identify suitable criteria and technologies for individual business needs, both within the team and for various Business Units, independently undertaking analyses throughout their entire development cycle, from requirements gathering to the delivery of deliverables.
DATA MODEL AND REPORTING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
- You will design, develop, and optimize data models to support reporting and information flows.
- You will translate information requirements into effective data solutions, ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of the produced information.
DATA GOVERNANCE PROCESSES
- You will oversee business processes according to Data Governance principles.
- You will identify opportunities for improvement and evolution of processes, promoting a proactive approach oriented towards continuous improvement.
What we are looking for from a technical perspective:
- Degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields)
- At least 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Engineering
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of SQL Server / T-SQL: complex queries, CTEs, views, optimization, relational and dimensional models
- Knowledge of Power BI: report development, data modeling, DAX
- Knowledge of project management tools (Planner, Microsoft Project, Teams)
- Knowledge of Power Automate: flows with HTTP triggers, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft 365 integration
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of data governance
- Knowledge of the principles of AI model development (ML, clustering) is a plus
