Business Analyst (AI / Predictive Maintenance) – Freelance We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a customer in the rail freight and logistics sector for a freelance mission. The consultant will support an AI initiative focused on predictive maintenance and asset management across locomotives and wagons. The client is launching an AI-based predictive maintenance programme aimed at reducing downtime, improving maintenance planning, and improving operational performance. The Business Analyst will be responsible for: • Analyzing the current state of the customer's predictive maintenance processes and identifying areas for improvement. • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive predictive maintenance strategy that aligns with the customer's business objectives. • Designing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve predictive maintenance, including data visualization and reporting tools. • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, operations, and maintenance teams. • Providing recommendations for process improvements and best practices in predictive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience with AI-based predictive maintenance solutions is an asset. • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is an asset. The freelancer will work on-site at the customer's premises for approximately 3-4 days per week. The expected duration of this freelance mission is 6 months.
