What will you do?

As a bus driver at Transdev, you are the one who safely and comfortably brings hundreds of people to their destination every day. You drive fixed routes in your region, have brief conversations with passengers, and keep a sharp eye on traffic. No day is the same: you drive through different villages and cities, you deal with rush hour traffic or with quiet and peace. Everything revolves around timing, safety, and customer friendliness.

Your working hours are flexible and can be easily combined with your studies. You determine your own availability and can be deployed at all sorts of times: early in the morning, during the day, or in the evening. Do you live somewhere else on weekends than during the week? No problem, because we are looking for bus drivers throughout the Netherlands. So you choose where and when you drive.

What we offer you:

A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible, and stress-resistant. Safety is paramount in your work, followed closely by the care for your passengers. You enjoy making a real contribution to society. A bit of humor and patience are also very welcome.

You have a B driving license and at least one year of independent driving experience. You are also pursuing at least a higher professional education (HBO) program. You are available for at least one shift per week and provide your availability eight days in advance.

What do you bring?

• Earn between €20.94 and €21.35 per hour, depending on your age. This hourly wage includes holiday allowances and excludes irregular hours allowances;
• We take care of now and later: pension according to Rail & OV;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV (Collective Labor Agreement Public Transport).

You will obtain your D driving license and Code 95 at our expense. The process takes approximately 6 months and mainly requires an investment of your time. You will study independently for the theory and schedule your practical lessons flexibly in blocks of 4 hours. For the time you spend on your theory, you will receive 500 euros gross upon starting the theory and 750 euros gross after passing the practical exam.
