Job description

ITV network is hiring for Bureau chiefs who typically work in a management capacity and supervise various members to coordinate news production, they perform many duties on a day-to-day basis, including:

Supervising a team of reporters and production professionals
Training, hiring and managing staff members
Setting and managing budgets
Selecting and gathering news pieces
Making connections with sources in a specific location or content area
Coordinating with editors on news topics
Reviewing news stories and making decisions about content
Overseeing the daily operations of a newsroom
Ensuring the regular publication of content from an outlet
Working alongside reporters to ensure productivity
Reviewing content for errors and relevance
