Building Supervisor - Investment Homes - Need QBCC Supervisors Licence

We are exclusively recruiting for a supervisor role for an investment builder with a speciality in infill redevelopments. You must have a QBCC Builder or Supervisors Licence.

We require an experienced local supervisor who has a strong trade base for an upcoming project. Reporting to the Building Manager, this is an autonomous role for a self-motivated and organised building supervisor with a background in volume housing. The geographic regions are open and will be suitable for someone based in Brisbane or the Northern Gold Coast

This role will be based on site.

Responsibility includes:

• Sourcing quality local trades
• Working with local authorities, engineers, and inspectors to ensure compliance
• Raising a purchase order and ensuring the costs are recorded and controlled
• Scheduling
• Reporting back to senior management on any issues
• OHS and Environment with emphasis on erosion and sediment control

Ultimately, this role is judged on commercial success, cash flow control, and delivery timeliness.

To be successful in the role, you will require

• Excellent references
• Preferably a trade background
• A track record with local jobs
• Good understanding of the Building Code for QLD
• Working knowledge of OHS
• Computer literacy skills
