Building Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant services of our property. The Building Manager will be responsible for ensuring the facility is safe, well-maintained, and efficiently managed while providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and facility management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and security of the building and its systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).

• Manage vendor contracts, service providers, and maintenance staff.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes.

• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, service requests, and emergencies.

• Develop and manage budgets for building operations, maintenance, and capital projects.

• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building systems.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Prepare reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and tenant satisfaction.

• Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• Proven experience as a Building Manager, Facility Manager, or Property Manager.

• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security).

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for tenant and vendor management.

• Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office Suite.

• Ability to manage budgets and control operating costs effectively.

• Physical ability to inspect facilities and respond to emergencies when needed.
