Building Maintenance

Job Description Préposé(e) to building maintenance and workspace improvement. Perform basic repairs: plumbing, basic electricity, painting, carpentry, replacing lighting fixtures, etc. Manage building maintenance requests and prioritize interventions based on urgency and impact on operations. Perform housekeeping tasks for various sectors of the company (cafeterias, offices, common areas, sanitary facilities, etc.) according to the schedule. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize building performance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of services provided. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; • 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field; • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, painting, carpentry, and other relevant trades; • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
