Building Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a General Building Worker to be hired on a fixed-term contract with one of our prestigious clients in the Healthcare sector, within the internal maintenance team. The resource, on a temporary contract, will operate across all the Group's hospital locations in Milan center, Sesto San Giovanni, Castellanza, and Limbiate, ensuring building maintenance and minor renovation interventions at the various facilities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ordinary and extraordinary building maintenance activities (masonry, plastering, flooring, false ceilings, finishing works), ensuring compliance with current safety regulations and the quality standards required in the healthcare sector.

Main Activities

• Perform ordinary and extraordinary building maintenance interventions (masonry, plastering, painting, flooring, false ceilings);
• Carry out minor renovation and space adaptation works (partial demolitions, partitions, drywall installation);
• Perform finishing works (filling, skimming, window and door frame repairs);
• Intervene promptly on faults and structural criticalities reported by departments;
• Interpret floor plans and technical drawings;
• Regularly travel between different hospital locations based on operational needs;
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites and standards required in the healthcare sector (especially in sensitive areas such as wards and operating rooms);
• Collaborate with other technical figures (electricians, plumbers, maintenance workers) involved in maintenance activities;
• Ensure the correct use of equipment, tools, and PPE.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in the role of building worker/mason in civil or industrial settings;
• Knowledge of the main building techniques (masonry, plastering, drywall, flooring);
• Ability to read basic floor plans and technical drawings;
• Good manual dexterity, precision, and problem-solving skills;
• Availability to travel between different locations (Milan center, Sesto San Giovanni, Castellanza, Limbiate);
• Own a car;
• Availability to work in hospital environments.

Assets

• Experience gained in healthcare or hospital facilities;
• Basic knowledge of other related trades (plumbing, drywall installation, painting);
• Valid safety certifications (working at heights, Category III PPE, etc.).

Contract Type

Fixed-term, temporary contract – 36 hours per week;

Salary: Annual Gross Salary starting from €24,000.00 – to be defined based on candidate seniority
