Job Description He angituutanga: The opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Building Inspector to join our team in Hamilton, New Zealand. The building industry is evolving fast, with major legislative reforms reshaping the Building Consent Authority (BCA) space. As a Building Inspector, you’ll be at the forefront of these changes. As a Building Inspector, you will: Inspect building work to ensure compliance with the Building Act, Building Code, and approved consents Identify and report any non-compliance issues or defects Provide guidance and support to builders and homeowners on compliance matters Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards Collaborate with other stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
