Building Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems function efficiently while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for tenants and staff. As a Building Engineer, you will play a critical role in facility management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Perform regular inspections of building equipment, systems, and structures.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and emergencies.

• Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs.

• Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in Engineering, Building Maintenance, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as a Building Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Facilities Technician.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex building equipment.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards.

• Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
