Tasks

In the context of a planned succession arrangement, we offer you the opportunity to intensively involve yourself in the tasks of our current department head, who will likely retire in 2030. The goal is a gradual takeover of leadership and management responsibilities with long-term development prospects.

Your tasks:

• Leadership, planning, and development of the team in the accounting department
• Safeguarding and quality assurance of ongoing accounting processes
• Preliminary preparation and accompaniment of annual financial statements in close cooperation with the management board
• Contact person for external stakeholders and cost centers, such as municipalities, in the context of settlement and administrative processes
• Coordination of all administrative and accounting tasks
• Participation in modernizing and optimizing operational processes

Qualification

This is what you bring with you

• A completed degree in business administration (Bachelor) or a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by further training as an accountant – or the explicit willingness to acquire this qualification on a part-time basis
• Multiple years of professional experience in financial and accounting matters, including experience in leading teams
• Structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style with a comprehensive approach
• High communicative and intercultural competence, as well as enthusiasm for collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups
• Identification with our values: dignity of the human being, charity, neighborly love, justice, and tolerance
