Accounting Manager

The Theater am Torbogen is uniquely unique in its diverse theater forms in the region. Professional figure theater, theater-pedagogically accompanied play clubs for children and young people, and a citizen ensemble ensure a great offer. The theater café enables encounters between audience and artists. The theater has a fixed performance venue in the Rottenburg old town.

We are looking for an employee who, besides their actual task, brings a lot of understanding for the theater operation and many people around the theater to the job.

Tasks

• Participation in the administration and organization of the theater together with the intendant and the sponsor association
• Processing of the commercial business operations (management of cash register and accounts; settlement of freelance actors, play clubs, and citizen ensemble, guest performances, and festivals; accounting; participation in setting up and settling funding applications and usage reports; settlement of GEMA, artists' social security fund, and royalties; recording of ticket sales and management of webshops; cooperation with the tax office)
• Purchase processing for the theater and theater café
• Supporting the presentation operations

Qualification

• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Pleasure in organizational questions and development of the theater operation
• Sporadic nature and joy in dealing with people

Benefits

We offer you a fixed workplace with 15 hours of work per week and good pay. The working days will be agreed upon together. The theater's closing times during school holidays, combined with the vacation entitlement, allow for flexible scheduling of working hours.
