Accounting (m/w/d)

The Berlin Forum of Religions understands itself as an inter-religious dialogue and networking platform in Berlin. We bring people from different religious communities together to talk and give a face to the religious diversity of Berlin. With our inter-religious and civil society network partners, we focus on pressing social-political challenges. To strengthen social cohesion, we deepen themes in working groups and initiative circles that are made accessible to a broad public through public events.

We are looking for independent support for the accounting of the association and its various projects by March 1st, 2026 at the latest.

Working hours and employment:

• 10 hours per week
• Briefly until December 31st, 2026; extension planned
• Salary according to TV-L E9b

Tasks

• Prioritizing the accounting tasks of the association, including preparing regular financial statements
• Preparing relevant documents for the tax office according to SKR accounting framework

Qualification

• Completed commercial training, specific further education such as financial or balance sheet accountant or economic studies
• Practical work experience, especially in accounting according to SKR (Standard Accounting Framework) 42 and 49
