• Responsibility for the proper recording, valuation, and monitoring of inventories and fixed assets
• Planning, execution, and follow-up of inventories as well as analysis and clarification of stock discrepancies
• Support of investment projects including budget control, investment tracking, and reporting
• Preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets as well as support for departments in variance analysis
• Ensuring timely cost and expense accruals
• Preparation of analyses, reports, and key figures for management and group headquarters
• Participation in the optimization of accounting processes and internal control systems
• Close cooperation with the specialist departments as well as support with financial issues

• Completed degree with a focus on finance, accounting, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and German tax law
• Experience in fixed asset accounting, inventory processes, budgeting, or controlling is an advantage
• Proficient in ERP systems and common MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with various departments
• A qualification as a certified accountant (IHK) is an advantage
• Very good German language skills (Level C1) in speaking and writing
• Good English language skills (Level B2) in speaking and writing
