Tasks

In this role, a broad spectrum of accounting and controlling awaits you. You will be part of our finance team and work across various companies with approximately 150,000 bookings per year. On the one hand, you will ensure thorough and detail-oriented ongoing accounting down to the document level. On the other hand, you will analyze figures, understand deviations, and create sound decision-making bases.

• Participation in ongoing financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets accounting
• Detailed review, account assignment, and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Intercompany reconciliations and settlements between companies
• Administration of payment transactions
• Active support for upcoming annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow)
• Maintenance and implementation of monthly reporting, including commentary on the monthly financial statements (BWA)
• Analysis of planned-vs-actual deviations and derivation of business management measures
• Creation of budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for internal and external stakeholders
• Coordination with tax advisors, auditors, and financial authorities

Qualifications

• Sound professional experience in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, intercompany), ideally in a multi-entity environment or from a position with broad independent responsibility
• Experience in detailed invoice review and account assignment, as well as a sound understanding of HGB financial statements, ideally with experience in contributing to annual financial statements
• Controlling competence: You derive KPIs, forecasts, and business management measures from figures
• Proficiency in using DATEV is a prerequisite, as well as strong Excel skills
• Quick comprehension, a high degree of independence, and a good eye for detail
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken

This is a plus:

• Initial experience with BI tools and building reporting structures from scratch
• Background in Hospitality, Real Estate, or a multi-entity setup
• Interest in automation and process optimization (API interfaces, booking automation)
