Aufgaben

In this role, you can expect a broad spectrum of accounting and controlling. You will be part of our finance team and work across various companies with around 150,000 transactions per year. On the one hand, you will ensure thorough and detailed ongoing accounting down to invoice level. On the other hand, you will analyze numbers, understand deviations, and create solid decision-making foundations.

• Participation in ongoing financial accounting including debtor, creditor, and asset accounting
• Detailed examination, counting, and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Intercompany adjustments and settlements between companies
• Administration of payment transactions
• Active support for upcoming annual financial statements according to HGB (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Maintenance and implementation of monthly reporting including BWA commentary
• Analysis of should-be-actual deviations and derivation of business economic measures
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for internal and external stakeholders
• Coordination with tax consultants, auditors, and financial administration

Qualifikation

• Fundamental professional experience in accounting (debtors, creditors, assets, intercompany) ideally in a multi-entity environment or from a position with broad self-responsibility
• Experience in detailed invoice examination and counting as well as a solid understanding of HGB annual financial statements, ideally with experience in working on annual financial statements
• Controlling competence: You lead out numbers KPIs, forecasts, and business economic measures
• Safe handling of DATEV is a prerequisite, as well as advanced Excel skills
• Fast comprehension, high degree of self-reliance, and good eye for detail
• Fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking

This is a plus:

• First experience with BI tools and building reporting structures from scratch
• Background in hospitality, real estate, or a multi-entity setup
• Interest in automation and process optimization (API interfaces, booking automation)
