Job description

Since 2017, we have been assisting property owners in managing their co-ownerships and rental investments, through tailor-made offers. Initially known for its cooperative trustee offer, which allows co-owners to regain control of their building, Matera launched a fully delegated local professional trustee offer in February 2024. In January 2023, Matera also launched a rental management offer to complement its services and provide a complete ecosystem for property owners. In the longer term, Matera aims to go even further and develop a truly comprehensive ecosystem around housing

This strategic expansion is accompanied by several growth opportunities.

Within the CEO Office, you will work directly with the Chief of Staff and the CEO to meet the key needs of the teams and support Matera's development.

You will participate in:

1. Managing strategic projects

  • Contribute to market research and business opportunity analyses

  • Analyze and evaluate potential targets for M&A operations

  • Participate in the identification and deployment of key strategic projects

2. Maintaining investor relations

  • Assist in the preparation of board meetings

  • Develop financial and strategic documents

3. Ensuring internal communication

  • Identify and structure strategic topics to communicate to the teams

  • Organize and coordinate monthly meetings (information meeting with all French teams)

  • Prepare presentation materials

Your internship experience:

Your onboarding journey begins with two weeks of meetings with all our teams to understand our internal organization and vision.

Throughout your internship, you will benefit from personalized support to develop your skills for the role.

An experienced buddy will be your main point of contact and will support you daily in your skill development.

Weekly check-ins with your mentor will allow you to review your progress and identify areas for improvement.

The objective is to progressively develop your skills so that you become as autonomous as possible in your role.

The CEO office is at the heart of the action, allowing you to face complex challenges and participate in strategic decisions. This position will offer you a unique opportunity to develop various skills: strategic thinking, problem-solving, project management, and operational mastery. You will have the necessary autonomy to lead projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and directly contribute to the company's growth alongside the founders.

Practical information:

  • Location: Paris 10th arrondissement

  • Remote work: occasional, subject to manager approval

  • Contract type: 6-month internship


Ideally,

  • Be autonomous in organizing and prioritizing tasks based on their importance and deadlines

  • Demonstrate versatility by working on varied subjects with a consistent level of quality

  • Show initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit by identifying areas for improvement

  • Analyze complex problems and propose relevant solutions

  • Understand business challenges and make appropriate decisions in an evolving context

  • Coordinate projects autonomously and collaborate effectively with different teams

  • Clearly communicate your needs and motivations to stakeholders

  • Show curiosity and adaptability in the face of new challenges

  • Master French and English (German is a plus)

The recruitment process:

1️⃣ First phone interview of 20 to 30 minutes with our recruiter

2️⃣ Meeting with Enzo, Chief of Staff (your manager), for a practical exercise (45 minutes via video call)

3️⃣ Discussion with Raphaël, CEO, in person or via video call (30 minutes)
