Brand & Web Designer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a designer with strong focus on web design, who is also at home in branding. Someone who confidently appears in workshops, strategically leads clients and works visually at a high level.

morgentau is a boutique agency for branding and high-end websites. We work for international clients – around 70% of our projects come from the USA, UK, and Europe. This means: modern aesthetics, challenging tasks, and a team that prioritizes quality over quantity.

We are seven people, working remote-first and have short distances instead of long meetings. At our agency, you don't just design projects, but also processes and standards.

Aufgaben

Webdesign (Schwerpunkt)
You design modern, challenging websites in Figma – from landing pages to complex platforms. Animations, interactions, clean systems. You think in components, build thoughtful design systems and document so that our development team can start working directly.

Branding
You develop brand identities from the first idea to the finished system – logos, positioning, imagery, color worlds, typography, brand books, etc. You understand how brands work and how an identity consistently carries over all touchpoints.

Workshops & Kundenführung
You lead strategic workshops – primarily in English for our international clients. You ask the right questions, translate vague inputs into clear design directions, and are the person whom clients trust. The German-language workshops are currently covered by our Lead Senior Designer.

Qualifikation

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in web design and branding
• Excellent Figma skills – you build designs and systems that developers love
• Sense for modern web aesthetics, animations, and interactions
• Experience in direct client work – you can justify decisions and conduct conversations
• German on a native speaker level
• Very good English (C1+) – you lead workshops and client conversations confidently in English
• A portfolio with a focus on web design, showing how you think

Bonus:
Experience with Webflow handovers or motion design.
