Branch/Operations Manager - Logistics Industry

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Branch/Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their logistics branch in the Eastern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a background in logistics and supply chain management. The Branch/Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the branch’s operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability, and leading a team of employees to deliver outstanding service to our customers. Responsibilities include: • Managing the day-to-day operations of the logistics branch; • Ensuring efficient and profitable operations; • Leading a team of employees to deliver outstanding service to our customers; • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational performance; • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel; • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations; • Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the branch’s operations; • Maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field; • At least 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management; • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
