The primary function of the Branch Manager is to lead and manage the branch's operations, ensuring that sales and service targets are met, and that all branch activities align with the company's policies and procedures. Key responsibilities: * Achieve sales targets: Drive sales performance to meet or exceed targets by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics. * Manage branch operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including staff management, customer service, and administration. * Team leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor branch staff to achieve individual and team goals. * Ensure compliance: Ensure that all branch activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Customer service: Ensure excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships. * Manage branch finances: Manage the branch budget, control expenses, and ensure financial accountability. * Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, sales, and expenses. * Staff training and development: Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities to branch staff. * Business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the branch's customer base and revenue. * Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with branch operations. * Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and internal policies and procedures. What makes you the ideal candidate? * Matric or equivalent. * RE (Representative) qualification is essential. * FAIS credits. * Proven track record in sales and branch management. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. * Sound understanding of financial services and products. * Computer literacy. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Experience in managing a team of sales and administrative staff. * A valid driver's license.
