Branch Manager- Nelson

THE ROLE

As Branch Manager with 3 years' experience in the vehicle trade, you'll lead sales and operations, driving team performance while delivering exceptional, consultative customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of branch P&L, including revenue, margin, expenses, and EBITDA targets
• Execute sales strategies to grow share and optimize margins across key customers
• Deliver branch initiatives aligned with margin, inventory, and KPI targets
• Lead customer engagement, building strong relationships with top contractors
• Ensure operational excellence in procurement, stock control, merchandising, and asset management

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven P&L or business unit management with a focus on profitability
• Strong B2B sales experience, pricing discipline, and margin management
• Skilled in team leadership, culture-building, and driving accountability
• Commercially curious and proactive in piloting new approaches
• Experienced in building lasting customer relationships
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
• Background in trade, electrical distribution, or similar industries advantageous
• Confident using financial and operational data to drive decisions
