Branch Manager

Michael Page Responsibilities:

• Gestione Commerciale e Sviluppo del Business:
• Define and implement the commercial plan for the branch to achieve sales targets on banking products and services (mortgage, personal loans, and TFS anticipation) for private clients and small businesses.
• Monitor commercial performance of the branch against set objectives, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Gestione del Team e Sviluppo delle Risorse Umane:
• Form, motivate, and develop the personnel of the branch (consultants, specialists, cashiers).
• Assign individual and team objectives, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a collaborative, stimulating, and goal-oriented work environment.
• Gestione Operativa e Amministrativa:
• Ensure correct management of branch operations, guaranteeing efficiency, security, and compliance with internal procedures.
• Supervise cash activities, anti-money laundering, privacy, and security.
• Manage the branch budget, controlling costs and optimizing resources.
• Gestione dei Rischi e Conformità Normativa:
• Ensure full compliance with banking and financial regulations (e.g. Mifid II, GDPR, AML) and internal procedures.
• Supervise credit investigation and decision-making processes, ensuring correct evaluation of creditworthiness and risk.

Rapporti con la Direzione e altre Funzioni:

• Report regularly to the Network Direction on branch performance and main issues/opportunities.
• Collaborate actively with central functions (Marketing, Credit, IT, HR, Compliance) for implementing corporate strategies and optimizing processes.

Requisiti e Competenze:

• Formazione: Laurea in Economia, Finanza, Giurisprudenza o discipline affini.
• Esperienza: Solida esperienza (min. 5-7 anni) in ruoli commerciali e di gestione nel settore bancario, preferibilmente con esperienza pregressa come gestore di portafoglio (preferibilmente small business) o responsabile di team.
• Conoscenze Specifiche:
• Deep knowledge of the banking sector, financial products, and services.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, anti-money laundering, and creditworthiness evaluation.
