Overview

As a Branch Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations, sales, and business development activities of the branch. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team towards achieving business objectives. You will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, managing resources effectively, and fostering a positive work environment to ensure the branch's success. This role is crucial in maintaining the branch's profitability and reputation within the market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the branch operations to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
• Drive sales activities and business development efforts to expand the branch's customer base and market presence.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
• Build and lead a high-performing team by providing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the branch's performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to create and implement cross-functional initiatives that drive business growth.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial activities to achieve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a strong market awareness and stay informed about industry trends and competitors' activities.
• Implement and maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment for employees and customers.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives at the branch level.
• Represent the branch in meetings, events, and networking activities to promote the organization's brand and services.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to enhance their professional growth and productivity.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a managerial role with related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower a diverse team.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Certification in Financial Management or Leadership is a plus.
