Branch Manager (Consumer Banking)

Job Description:

• Oversee the branch’s overall operations, including business management, risk control, transaction processing, and personnel administration.
• Develop and implement departmental objectives aligned with the bank’s strategic goals, while optimizing workflows and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain effective communication with business units, providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth execution of related operations.
• Advise business lines on critical organizational and human resources issues that impact management efficiency.
• Strive to achieve the wealth management sales targets assigned by the head office while fostering a service-oriented customer experience.
• Ensure that all sales activities adhere to internal branch policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen staff management and training programs to continuously improve the professional competencies and sales capabilities of wealth management advisors.
• Manage new residential mortgage loan applications and provide ongoing service and relationship management for existing mortgage clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, promptly address customer complaints, and escalate complex issues to senior management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree or above from recognized university
• Possess the relevant professional certifications and have passed the following examinations: M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, and HI.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Consumer Banking, including experience in leadership and people management roles.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills, excellent communication and coordination abilities, proven team management capabilities, solid risk control awareness, and in-depth expertise in related business areas.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese to effectively communicate with and support Chinese-speaking customers.
