Branch Logistic Coordinator – Project assignment Location: Pemba, Mozambique Rotation: 90/15 Reports To: On Project: Branch Procurement & Logistic Manager Hierarchically: Expediting, Inspection & Logistic Manager Work Purpose: Join the team of a reputable client operating in the civil construction and oil & gas sectors. The Branch Logistic Coordinator will manage the movement of materials and resources at a specific project site, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet operational requirements. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling the flow of goods, services, and related information from one place to another. Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources; • Developing and implementing logistics plans and schedules to meet project requirements; • Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored, handled, and maintained; • Identifying and mitigating potential logistical risks and issues; • Collaborating with the Branch Procurement & Logistic Manager to develop and implement procurement strategies; • Providing support to other departments within the organization as needed. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the construction or oil & gas sectors.
