As a Branch Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for retail and trade customers, guiding them through product selections, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring they receive top-notch service. Your role will be a mix of customer interaction, sales support, and relationship management.

This is a full-time role based in Caloundra, QLD.

Your responsibilities:

• Assisting retail and trade customers with product selection and orders
• Building relationships with key partners like local builders and plumbers
• Managing local deliveries representing the Tradelink brand with professionalism
• Providing consultative advice to help customers achieve their renovation goals
• Creating quotes, processing sales, and following up on orders
• Managing an account base and supporting store operations
• Collaborating with your team to maintain a high level of customer service

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Industry Experience: Plumbing industry experience or knowledge of plumbing products or wholesale/trade sales experience would be highly beneficial.
• Consultative Sales Skills: You should be comfortable engaging with customers and providing tailored recommendations.
• Team Player Attitude: We value hard-working, adaptable team members who contribute to a positive work culture.
• Strong Communication: You’ll be working closely with experienced tradespeople who expect efficient, knowledgeable service.
• Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence: Holding a valid drivers licence is a requirement, holding a forklift licence is preferred.
