Job description
As an Architectural Preparer at Van Baaren Aannemers, you ensure that our construction projects start well-prepared and continue to run smoothly. From Schoonhoven, you will work on diverse new construction and renovation projects in the Groene Hart and Randstad regions. You will maintain an overview of drawings, schedules, and purchasing, and communicate directly with the project manager, site manager, suppliers, and subcontractors. Short lines of communication, significant personal responsibility, and work whose results you can see standing outside.

Main tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation and planning of our construction projects.
- Checking and coordinating construction and working drawings.
- Coordinating material procurement, orders, and deliveries.
- Requesting and evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Contributing ideas on construction methods, technical solutions, and smart detailing.
- Identifying opportunities, risks, and bottlenecks before they delay execution.
- Daily coordination with the project manager, site manager, and other involved parties.
- Regularly visiting the construction site to ensure preparation and execution align well.

- Gross salary €4,500 – €5,400 per month (based on experience & 40 hours/week)

Is this you?
- At least 2 years of experience as a preparer in construction
- Completed MBO or HBO degree (Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and quality requirements
- Solution-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in the Dutch language.
Perks / Desired additional skills
- Experience with BIM or other construction tools is a plus
- Experience with new construction, renovation, or utility construction
