Bottalista

Ali Agency for Work S.p.A. Branch of Santa Croce sull'Arno, seeks a bottalista for a client company operating in the leather and hide sector. Responsibilities: - Preparation and Loading/Unloading: Load and unload hides into bottles efficiently and safely. - Process Management: Monitor and manage the stages of tanning, re-tanning, and dyeing, strictly following recipes and company protocols. - Product Dosage: Measure and dose chemicals (salts, acids, dyes, etc.) with precision according to technical specifications. - Quality Control: Perform visual and instrumental checks on the hide in production to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Basic Maintenance: Report any malfunctions or defects and keep the work area clean and organized. - Safety: Respect safety regulations at work and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements: - Experience: Previous experience (even minimal) in managing bottles or operational roles within a tannery. Having knowledge of the complete leather processing cycle is a preferred title. - Education: High school diploma (preferably in a chemical/technical direction) or professional qualification. - Physical Competencies: Good physical resistance and ability to lift loads with tools. - Transversal Competences: Reliability, precision in dosing, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team and for objectives. - Availability: Flexibility and availability to work on shifts (if scheduled). - Offer: - A fixed-term employment contract with the possibility of conversion to an indefinite-term contract. - Monthly gross salary of €1,800-€2,000. - Working hours 8:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00. - A dynamic and stimulating work environment. - Opportunities for professional growth.
