About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Mobile Maintenance team at Gregory Mine. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Mobile Maintenance team at Gregory Mine. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake the repair and maintenance of mobile mining. equipment in accordance with Sojitz servicing and maintenance procedures
- Perform planned, breakdown, and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy mining equipment, including Komatsu excavators, and CAT haul trucks
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify faults and determine repair needs
- Carry out on-site structural and mechanical welding and fabrication
- Inspect and repair components such as buckets, guards, trays, chassis, and other structural elements
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Qualifications & Experience
- Australian-recognised Trade Qualification – Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator (Cert III)
- Experience with CAT 789, MT4400 haul trucks, CAT 6060, Komatsu PC3000 excavators
- Heavy fabrication experience on earthmoving equipment
- Queensland Generic Induction (Standard 11)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Exposure to draglines is highly regarded
