BOA Officer

34080.00 - 48180.00

Job description

HTV graduate or already experienced as a BOA? With us, you'll find opportunities at every level!

Job Description

You want to work at Trigion City 360 because you…

  • always get your salary paid on time.
  • can develop yourself fully. For example, you can work for one of our clients or grow into another position within Trigion itself.
  • will end up in a family business where we have attention for you.

Keeping the public space safe and liveable, that is your goal! As the ears and eyes of society, you tackle nuisance and minor irritations. You address people about their behavior, encourage them to follow the rules, and can issue fines or official reports. But your role is more: being visibly present and working together for a pleasant and safe living environment.

Your Role as BOA and Alcohol Act Officer
In addition to your work as a BOA, you also supervise compliance with the Alcohol Act in the municipality of Peel en Maas and sometimes in other municipalities. No day is the same: one day you supervise at a football canteen, the next day you check supermarkets, liquor stores, or catering establishments and events. You observe, inform, and act on violations, from warnings to official reports. You have an important enforcement and preventive role, with which you help entrepreneurs and visitors to comply with the rules and contribute to a safe environment.

Your Workday
After a short briefing, you head out, on foot, by bike, or by car. You patrol, address people, and offer help where needed. No day is the same: sometimes quiet, sometimes dynamic with incidents or aggression. Shifts as an Alcohol Act Officer are easy to combine with your current work, usually twice a month on Friday or Saturday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Extra great about your job as a BOA

  • You are truly adding value to our society. You keep the city liveable and safe for everyone. You can be proud of that!
  • We regularly organize refresher courses and additional training. Think of training in RTGB (use of force), dealing with aggression, and life-saving skills.
  • You will become part of the municipal services in the region and work closely with the police. Good to know: you will work day and evening shifts of about 8 hours, both during the week and on weekends.
