Blast Crew - Mining (Open Pit)

Job Description Due to an expanding team, our Open Pit Operations crew are on the hunt for multiple Blast Crew members. These roles will assist with ensuring all Open Pit Drill and Blast activities are compliant with production targets and are completed in a safe and efficient manner. Key tasks and responsibilities: A series of tasks that will be performed by the successful candidate include but are not limited to: • Assisting with the planning and execution of blast operations; • Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols; • Maintaining accurate records of blast activities; • Collaborating with other crew members to achieve production targets; • Participating in training programs to develop skills and knowledge; • Adhering to company policies and procedures. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; • 2+ years of experience in an open pit mining environment preferred; • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; • Strong communication and teamwork skills; • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
