Accountant (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an accountant (m/w/d) as of now.

Tasks

• Solo preparation of monthly closing statements and preparation of annual closing statements according to HGB
• Monthly analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss statement, including clarification and adjustment of any irregularities
• Operative responsibility for the accounting of the national and international companies being managed
• Solo booking of all business transactions in main, debtor, and creditor accounting (MS Navision/Business Central/Datev)
• Provisional and offsetting entries
• Responsibility for fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules
• Closing entries in the context of monthly and annual closing statements
• Solo execution of intercompany adjustments
• Preparation of reporting and evaluation documents for management
• Contact person for tax-related questions and participation in preparing tax reports
• Optimization of processes and structures within accounting, including documentation and continuous further development
• Contact person for auditors and tax consultants

Qualification

• Completed commercial training with further education as an accountant (IHK), alternatively a tax consultant with several years of experience in preparing monthly and annual closing statements according to HGB or comparable qualification
• Fundamental, at least five-year professional experience in accounting, particularly in preparing monthly and annual closing statements according to HGB
• Experience working with ERP systems and good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of DATEV accounting is an asset
• Good knowledge of commercial law (HGB) and German value-added tax law
• Structured, self-reliant, and reliable work style, as well as excellent teamwork, organizational skills, and communication strength
• Good English language skills are required
