BIW - Development and Quality Engineer for Suppliers

Job description

Responsible for supplier management to ensure the quality of products delivered to Stellantis group manufacturing plants and for the development of the supply chain quality system. PPAP approvals for new projects and engineering changes. Coordination of quality problem containment activities and root cause investigation using advanced problem-solving techniques. Implementation of corrective actions, preventive actions, continuous improvement, and action plans at supplier plants. Audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with Stellantis and Automotive industry quality standards and requirements. Responsible for supplier quality and warranty metrics, as well as action plans aimed at improving these metrics. Responses to internal customers regarding problems or follow-up on supplier improvement plans. Support for the Purchasing department in the investigation and selection of new suppliers.
