BIM Specialist

BIMLAB s.r.l. is looking for new people to join its technical team at the Verona office.

The search is open to both junior/entry-level profiles, who want to start or consolidate their career in the BIM world, and senior profiles with experience already gained in BIM modeling and coordination.

For junior roles, we provide an initial training and mentoring program, working immediately in close contact with experienced BIM Specialists, BIM Coordinators, and BIM Managers on complex and multidisciplinary projects. The goal is to allow the person to grow progressively, acquiring methods, autonomy, and skills directly through project work.

For profiles with more experience, on the other hand, we are looking for people capable of quickly integrating into operational activities and progressively gaining more autonomy and responsibility within projects.

Depending on experience and career path, activities may include:

• architectural, structural, and/or MEP BIM modeling;
• development and updating of information models in the different phases of design and construction;
• management and organization of information contained in the models;
• coordination with designers, site management, contractors, and other professionals involved in projects;
• verification of consistency between BIM models, graphical outputs, and technical documentation;
• support for BIM Coordination and interdisciplinary coordination activities;
• identification and management of clashes and inconsistencies between different models;
• preparation and management of technical documentation related to the models;
• application of company BIM standards and procedures required by individual projects.

We work on real projects, often complex and multidisciplinary, following BIM activities from design through to site phase and As-Built.

We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows how to do everything.

For junior profiles, curiosity, precision, ability to learn, and a desire to work in a team are particularly important.

For more experienced profiles, we positively evaluate operational autonomy, coordination skills, and knowledge of BIM processes applied to design and construction.

The following are considered preferential qualifications:

• Education in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related fields;
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit;
• Experience in BIM modeling;
• Knowledge of clash detection and BIM Coordination activities;
• Experience with MEP models;
• Knowledge of software such as Navisworks, Solibri, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or equivalent tools;
• Knowledge of BIM processes and standards.

Integration will be within a structured and highly qualified BIM team, with the opportunity for daily interaction with professionals specialized in various disciplines.

For those at the beginning of their career, we provide initial training, operational mentoring, and gradual growth on projects.

For those with existing experience, the goal is to leverage acquired skills and offer the opportunity to work on more complex projects, with increasing technical and coordination responsibilities.

The position is full-time, based in Verona, with activities predominantly in person.
