You will join a down-to-earth and well-organized contractor active in both residential and utility construction, with projects spread across the North and East of the Netherlands. Within this organization, work is carried out on diverse new construction projects, ranging from serial residential construction to complex utility buildings such as schools and healthcare institutions. The communication lines are short, the atmosphere is informal, and there is ample room for personal input and initiative.

Digitalization plays an increasingly significant role within the organization. BIM is not a standalone component here but an integral part of the construction process. Intensive collaboration takes place across various disciplines to realize projects that are predictable, efficient, and of high quality. As BIM Manager, you fulfill a connecting role between design, preparation, and execution.

You will work with modelers, work preparers, project leaders, and external partners. The organization invests in improving processes and further professionalizing BIM. Your knowledge and vision will directly contribute to how projects are structured and realized. This makes this role substantively strong and visible within the organization.

This is what you will do

As BIM Manager, you will be engaged daily in optimizing and coordinating digital construction processes. You will switch between different project teams and ensure that BIM agreements are adhered to and further developed. You will be involved both strategically and operationally and know how to engage people in new working methods.

In short:

• You will develop and monitor BIM protocols and standards within projects
• You will coordinate and review 3D models from internal and external parties
• You will support project teams in applying BIM in practice
• You will identify bottlenecks in the process and translate them into improvements
• You will act as the point of contact for BIM-related issues within the organization
• You will contribute to innovation and further digitalization of the construction process

This is who you are

• You have a completed Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's (WO) degree in Construction Management or a related field
• You have experience with BIM in residential and/or utility construction
• You are familiar with software such as Revit and preferably also Solibri or Navisworks
• You have good process insight and understand how construction projects are structured
• You communicate easily with different disciplines within projects
• You take initiative and enjoy improving processes
