BIM MANAGER - MECHANICAL MEP

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Manager specializing in Mechanical MEP at Hozon Engineering and Contracting, located in Kochi. The BIM Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in various construction projects. Responsibilities include facilitating BIM coordination, developing virtual designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and coordinating with project teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM models into construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM software and its applications in the MEP sector. Key responsibilities: • Facilitate BIM coordination among stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. • Develop virtual designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using BIM software. • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation. • Coordinate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM models into construction projects. • Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed designs for MEP systems. • Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and its applications. • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in BIM management, preferably in the MEP sector. • Strong understanding of BIM software and its applications in the MEP sector. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
