The Bilingual Medical Interpreter will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings. Responsibilities Provide verbal interpretation services to facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings. This includes, but is not limited to, interpreting for patients and healthcare providers during medical appointments, hospital stays, and other healthcare-related interactions. Ensure accurate and timely interpretation of medical information, including diagnoses, treatment options, and test results. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and effective communication. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as translation, interpretation, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical interpreter. Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
