Bilingual CPA – Senior Bookkeeping & Financial Operator


Compensation: 1800 - 2200 USD (Depending on experience and client's opinion)

Are you a CPA who combines technical mastery with real-world business judgment? Higher Options is looking for a highly skilled, bilingual (English/Spanish) CPA with strong bookkeeping fundamentals to manage the financial backbone of a dynamic U.S.-based real estate group operating across brokerage, investment, and development entities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Full-cycle bookkeeping across multiple entities, including real estate brokerage, investment companies, and project-specific LLCs.
  • Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting, including job cost tracking, project-level financials, and consolidated reporting.
  • Manage monthly and year-end closing processes, journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Track intercompany transactions and ensure proper elimination during consolidation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements; perform variance analysis and support executive decision-making.
  • Issue 1099s, ensure W-9 compliance, and prepare financial records for tax filings in coordination with external CPA.
  • Maintain financial records audit-ready at all times.
  • Build and update rolling cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in capital allocation decisions and support quarterly strategic reviews.
  • Oversee the personal financial tracking and reporting for the CEO, including investment monitoring.


Who You Are:


  • Licensed CPA with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong-level of:
  • U.S. GAAP
  • Full-charge bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Multi-entity accounting structures and intercompany eliminations
  • Job costing and project-based accounting
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel; experience with financial dashboards and project management tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable handling both business and personal financial data with discretion and reliability.
  • Highly detail-oriented, accountable, and organized.
  • Fluent in Spanish and with English level C1 (strong written and verbal communication in both languages required).
