Senior Financial Accountant (m/w/d)

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a committed person for the position:

Bilanzbuchhalter*in / Senior Finanzbuchhalter*in (m/w/d)

Velbert • Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time from 30 hours per week

You are experienced in financial accounting and do not want to get stuck solely in operational daily business, but rather set the stage where numbers really make a difference? Then we should get to know each other.

Your Tasks

• Preparation of monthly and annual statements according to HGB

• Accounting support for our subsidiary in the USA and other units

• Contact person for auditors and tax authorities – from preparation to accompaniment

• Verification and plausibility check of value-added tax returns

• Formation and management of annual provisions

• Consulting other departments in fiscal and accounting matters

• Professional support and sparring partner for colleagues in the team on complex accounting questions

• Preparation of statistics and internal evaluations

What You Bring

• Completed commercial training, e.g. as an industrial clerk or tax consultant

• Further education to become a senior financial accountant or tax consultant would be advantageous

• Several years of experience in financial accounting – absolutely necessary

• Knowledge of German tax law and international value-added tax law is desirable

• Very good knowledge of German and English; good English skills for cooperation with international companies

• Analytical, structured, and self-responsible working style

• Enjoyment of professional exchange and the ability to explain complex matters in a comprehensible way
