As one of the largest producers of renewable energies in Austria, we have been driving the expansion of wind power and photovoltaic energy for many years. As part of our strong growth and merger with Wien Energie, we are further expanding our accounting & tax department at our Vienna location.
We're an ambitious team in an innovative future industry and are looking for a new *
Accountant (m/w/d)
As of now, permanent position, full-time 40 hours, location: Vienna
Your role at ImWind:
* You prepare annual financial statements according to UGB
* The preparation of monthly and quarterly reports according to UGB and partly IFRS also falls within your area of responsibility
* You are the contact person for our auditors
* You support and optimize ongoing accounting activities
* You take care of the preparation of value-added tax and corporate tax returns, as well as various other declarations and notifications (e.g. UVA, ZM, statistics, OENB reports)
* As an external contact person, you are in touch with authorities and offices
* You also handle intercompany coordination work and settlements within the group of companies
* Through the leadership of and/or participation in projects in system and process development, you ensure that our processes are professionally, efficiently, and securely established
You bring:
* A successfully completed accounting certification or a degree in business administration (Uni, FH) with a focus on accounting/taxation
* Several years of professional experience, preferably in international corporate environments and/or tax consulting or auditing
* Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial reporting according to UGB and ideally IFRS
* In-depth knowledge of value-added tax law and experience with preparing tax returns
* Good IT skills (MS Office and ideally BMD NTCS)
* A precise and structured working style that helps you to act clearly and solution-oriented, even in intense project phases
* Initiative, team spirit, and joy in actively bringing your experience and ideas into a growing department
* A hands-on mentality, enthusiasm for process design, and interest in renewable energies round out your profile
