Accountant (m/w) | International Industrial Company

Your Tasks:

• Independent responsibility for ongoing accounting and financial reporting for individual operational units
• Self-responsible preparation, as well as team-oriented collaboration, for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to UGB
• Preliminary preparation of tax calculations in coordination with the tax consultant
• Preparation of value-added tax returns and other tax reports
• Support in the continuous development and optimization of accounting processes and systems
• Closely working together with internal departments and the corporate accounting department
• Optional: Support in personnel accounting with corresponding prior experience

Requirements

Your Profile:

• Completed commercial or economic education (e.g. HAK) and accounting certification
• At least five years of professional experience in accounting – preferably in a larger corporate environment or group
• Structured, solution-oriented working style
• Ability to recognize and implement optimization potential in processes
• A high degree of self-initiative, structured working style, and team and communication skills
• Hands-on mentality paired with high system and automation affinity
• Flexibility in adapting to changing requirements and priorities
• Good English skills in writing and speaking
