Part-time Controller (m/w/d)

Tasks

• You will be responsible for all accounting matters in the company (balance sheet, income statement, and asset accounting) as the right-hand man of our CFO.
• You will also support various controlling tasks such as monthly reports, project evaluations, liquidity planning, and actual/actual analyses.
• You will help develop a model for assigning costs to our products/services (cost center accounting). You will analyze existing data from accounting and cost center accounting.
• You will assist in setting up an actual profit-and-loss statement in Excel or our ERP system and keep the new workflow written, so that it remains anchored in controlling in the long term.
• You will monitor debtors, creditors, travel expense accounts, credit cards, cash, and banks. You will also process and book the offsetting items and provisions.
• You will conduct the reconciliation and clarification of all accounts.
• You will take over the preparation of monthly closings and the annual closing according to HGB. Various reports and statistical notifications are also part of your tasks.
• You will monitor open items and coordinate with the factoring company at the reminder process.
• You will prepare the value-added tax advance, ZM, and capital gains tax notification.
• You will take over the activation and impairment test for intangible assets and develop cost center accounting further.
• You are the key user for accounting in our ERP system and serve as an interface with tax consultants and authorities.

Qualification

• You have completed a commercial training, e.g. as an industrial clerk or tax consultant, with further education to become a certified accountant.
• You have several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field, ideally in the accounting department of an industrial company.
• You have good knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB, travel expense and value-added tax laws, which rounds out your profile.
• You are familiar with common MS Office applications and ERP systems.
• Your high reliability, discretion, and service-oriented mindset with a hands-on mentality make you stand out.
• You enjoy communicating with your colleagues, integrate well into our team, and show a high level of engagement, self-initiative, resilience, and willingness to learn.
• Your independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style and your good understanding of numbers help you.
• You speak and write fluent German and English.
